We're in the process of installing the new computer and other hardware.
// [[User:John_d|Demis D. John]] 21:13, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
Barring unforseen issues, we expect to have the system running and calibrated by Thursday or Friday.

=====Olympus DSX Microscope: Down=====
We are installing a new computer on the system. We have all user jobs backed up, so no user data will be lost in the transfer. However, the sync scripts for python ASML-JobCreator scripting will need to be re-written, so the automatic syncing for JobCreator will be unavailable until I rewrite those.
After speaking with Olympus it looks like there is a problem with the polarizer that is interfering with basic system initialization. I'm waiting for the repair quote and will update everyone when we know more.
