This tool is down indefinitely. We are sourcing manual bonding fixtures, and already have a 1cm bonding fixture for NanoFab users to use - please contact [[Demis D. John]] for more information.

===== All Chlorine gasses disabled =====
There is a leak in our Cl2 gas cabinet that we are currently addressing.

All Cl2 processes will be down until we have finished replacing the necessary lines/fittings. Cl2 gas will most likely be down all day tomorrow and part of Tuesday. We will have a better estimate once we break open the lines.

Most tools running Cl2 are up, but you may NOT run any Cl2 gas on these machines until the lines have been repaired.

Update 2022-08-30: The Cl2 repair is going well. We anticipate Cl2 will be available tomorrow late afternoon.

You are not required to wear a mask in UC buildings at this time. You are also not required to wear a mask in the Nanofab if desired.

We will still provide masks at the metal table in front of the cleanroom entry.

Effective Dec.1, 2021, all of our electron beam lithography rates are lowered. The new rates are as follows:

Industrial Users: $405/hour

UC Academic Users: $126/hour

Non-UC Academic Users: $150/hour

UCSB CNSI Incubator USers: $260/hour
