===== MLA Service: Monday Jan 30th 5:30pm =====
The MLA will be down beginning on Monday 1/30 at 5:30 pm and the tool will be unavailable until around 5 pm the following day (Tuesday 1/31). HIMT needs to have Germany remote into the tool that evening to address the software issues we have been having.
I will send an email out on Tuesday once the tool is available.

We have fixed the top heater issue and now need to run some pressure and voltage tests. The system will be available Monday late morning if everything looks good. I’ll send out an email once the tool is back up. -- Aidan

The computer is not coming up, after the campus-wide power outage last week. Will continue to work on it next week.
We have replaced the Dektak 6M with a new Dektak XT profilometer. We are currently qualifying the tool, we'll send an email when it's ready for training.

We finally got the slit valve assemble to seal correctly after making a number of mechanical adjustments. The tool is currently running an O2 clean and should be available to use within the next 10-15 minutes. Please let us know if you encounter any issues. The load lock seems like it's taking a while to get down to 0mT but that could just be a product of being open for the past several days.
Oven reassembled and tested.
Now available for use.

ICP power supply has failed. We have requested a replacement from the vendor and a timeline for repair. Oxford will have an engineer here next week (mid week) with the hopes of getting the system operational again. With any luck the system will be released by Friday Feb. 3rd afternoon.

Raith service have replaced the interferometer laser, and the system is pumping down overnight. I'll run calibrations and checks tomorrow and expect the Velion to be open for general use on Wednesday morning.

We are required to switch to new gowns in January. The new gowns won’t have pockets, but you are allowed to purchase cleanroom tool belts. Please ask staff for which tool belts you can purchase.

We found a blown resistor (and a questionable op amp) on one of the boards that contains the z-axis motor circuit. However, we still cannot get the tool to initialize. Next we will try swapping out the hard drive again and run some more tests.

I will send out an update once we have one.

SignupMonkey + Wiki: Off-Campus Access
