===== Raith EBL Update =====
=====Dicing Saw (ADT) Upgrade 10/9 - PLEASE READ
Raith replaced every item that was left to replace in the column on Monday. Yesterday they performed some quick tests @ 50kV and the issue with deflector settling was gone. This is an extremely positive result! It almost certainly suggests that the issue has been repaired. However, tests @ 100 kV remain to confirm the behavior and we are doing so later today and early tomorrow morning.
=====
The dicing saw is scheduled go down for an upgrade on Monday October 9th and will be down for that week and into the weekend. Part of the upgrade will be updated software and will require users to be re-trained. I will provide more info on the re-training once I get a little hands on time with the updated software.

I'll send out a couple of reminder emails between now and then and keep everyone updated in the event the schedule for this changes.
I am pretty confident that we are going to have a fully functional EBL system available for use early next week!

=====Plasma Activation (EVG 810)=====

We have received almost all the replacement parts for the tool except the new chuck. The original delivery date of mid June has now been pushed out to early September and they have stated that this is the best that their supplier can do. I will not be installing any new parts on the tool until we have everything.

Runs will still require Staff supervision until then.

We found a blown resistor (and a questionable op amp) on one of the boards that contains the z-axis motor circuit. However, we still cannot get the tool to initialize. Next we will try swapping out the hard drive again and run some more tests.

I will send out an update once we have one.
