The tasks needed for attending CNSI's Technician Cleanroom Training class is below.

Signing Up for Online Safety Review
The online safety review must be completed before arrival at the facility.
- Register at the CC-PRIME Portal
- Check the box for “Cleanroom Training Experience”
- Get a UCSB NetID.
- Send CNSI Staff your (1) First Name, (2) Last Name & (3) Date of Birth for this.
- We will give you an access code called an "Annex ID"
- Go to https://im.ucsb.edu
- click on 'manage identity'
- click on 'university affiliate'
- Use your "Annex ID" & Date of Birth to complete the form
- Let CNSI Staff know your UCSBNetID, so they can sign you up for the Lab Safety class in UC eLearning.
- Email Demis & Rachel with your chosen UCSBNetID.
- TIMING: Let us know the UCSBNetID as soon as possible, as we can only sign you up the next day after you create your ID.
- Staff will assign the "Fundamentals of Lab Safety to you in eLearning.
- Take the Fundamentals of Lab Safety online training.
- You should have received an email to enroll in UC Learning Center. Follow the instructions in that email to access the learning center, or:
- Go to the UC Leanring Center at : http://learningcenter.ucsb.edu
- Select "Find a Course"
- Search: by typing in “Fundamentals Laboratory Safety“,
- Choose the Online version, which may be named "INITIAL"
- Then go to “Select”, then “Register”
- You should have received an email to enroll in UC Learning Center. Follow the instructions in that email to access the learning center, or:
