* All students who will be on campus during Winter Quarter are required to obtain a campus COVID-19 test at the beginning of the quarter.

Please pick up a UCSB COVID-19 test kit at Loma Pelona any weekday starting 1/3/2022 between 8:30 am and 4:45 pm. You will then use the kit to provide your saliva sample (at home or at some other convenient location for you) and return it to Loma Pelona at your appointment time, which must be within 24 hours of making the sample. Appointments can be made through the [https://t.e2ma.net/click/bmsprf/bafvpn/7yzgiy Student Health Patient Portal].

* Booster vaccines are required for all eligible staff, faculty, and students, as part of [https://t.e2ma.net/click/bmsprf/bafvpn/3j1giy UC’s SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Program policy], in order to access UC facilities. Individuals with previously approved medical or religious exemptions are also exempt from booster requirements.

* Booster doses are widely available at pharmacies and medical clinics. New EBL Rates

Effective Dec.1, 2021, all of our electron beam lithography rates are lowered. The new rates are as follows:

Industrial Users: $405/hour

UC Academic Users: $126/hour

Non-UC Academic Users: $150/hour

UCSB CNSI Incubator USers: $260/hour

January GCA Vendor Service

The vendor will be here starting Monday January 17, 2022 at 8:00am to service the Autosep. The stage will be removed, so the machine will not be available for use in the evening. Service will conclude Wednesday January 19, 2022 at 5:00pm. Please schedule your process accordingly.

The vendor will be here to service the 6300-stepper starting Thursday January 20, 2022 at 8am. The system should be available by 5pm the same day. Please schedule your process accordingly. Silva 09:14, 21 December 2021 (PST)

New COVID Protocols

All facility users and visitors are now required to have masks on while indoors in shared spaces. This includes shared offices, hallways/corridors, and all shared laboratory spaces. Masks will be worn in all laboratories at all times and in all shared office spaces at all times.

Surgical style masks or KN95 masks are appropriate for cleanroom use. Cloth masks may be used in non-cleanroom spaces.

This direction applies to all vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons. Outdoor policies remain unchanged.
